Currently there is no statutory regulatory body for Physicians’ Assistants (Anaesthesia) to set professional standards. Until such time as the eventual regulatory body is decided and a code of practice produced in conjunction with the APA(A), the Association expects that its members will comply with the standards of conduct laid down by the Health Professions Council.
